Vancouver, B.C. - Ledalite Architectural Products has launched Response Daylight, an exceptionally easy, aesthetic and affordable way to incorporate daylight controls into lighting designs.

The Response Daylight photocell is completely integrated in Ledalite’s suspended and recessed luminaires, eliminating the need for complex low-voltage wiring schemes and costly power packs. Late-night, third-party commissioning is also virtually eliminated. Response Daylight sensors are factory pre-calibrated for most typical lighting applications and ready to use right out of the box. If the unique demands of the space or personal preferences do require some fine-tuning, sensor settings can be easily adjusted onsite.

Response Daylight is designed to save energy while minimizing distraction to occupants. As daylight contribution increases, the sensor dims luminaire output on a relative, weighted scale to provide 30-35% energy savings in window-adjacent locations. The sensors have a built-in delay to prevent abrupt disruptions.

One of the most unique benefits of Response Daylight is its price. When ordered with standard Ledalite-supplied dimming ballasts, it is available at no charge in Ledalite’s suspended products and for a small charge in recessed products.
