New energy-efficient recessed luminaire offers sharp looks and high performance in every configuration!
March 3, 2009 (Vancouver, BC) – Ledalite has launched Pique - a unique and contemporary family of recessed luminaires that deliver exceptional lighting performance and versatility. Utilizing new and advanced MesoOptics, Pique delivers highly-efficient and glare-free illumination with the right balance of brightness and control. In addition, Pique can be combined with integrated Response Daylight Sensors and Ledalite's innovative new Airwave wireless control technology.
Pique provides the best of both worlds - excellent lighting performance with MesoOptics and revolutionary control with Airwave, a wireless, self-powered and battery-free solution that makes lighting and control systems more personal, flexible, energy-efficient and cost effective than ever before. The simple push of a wireless and battery-free switch allows Airwave-enabled fixtures to be turned on/off or dimmed. With efficiencies as high as 88%, Pique's batwing lighting distribution minimizes the brightness directly below the fixture, reducing harsh reflections and distributes soft, uniform vertical brightness to create visually comfortable spaces with substantially reduced energy consumption. Pique is offered in a variety of recessed sizes: 1'x1', 2'x2', 1'x4', and 2'x4' and several energy-efficient lamping options including T5/T5HO, T8, and compact fluorescent sources.
Also new to the Ledalite offering, Pique is available in three new surface mount sizes: 1'x4', 2'x2', and 2'x4' to allow for design continuity when space does not allow for recessed lighting and/or the ceiling cannot accommodate a suspended fixture. In addition to the standard recessed offerings, Pique is also available in two new 20" wide sizes (20"x4' and 20"x2') to accommodate 5'x5' ceiling grids.
