At Ledalite, product innovation comes hand-in-hand with manufacturing innovation. Ledalite's 210,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is entirely focused on producing products with industry-leading quality, costs, and turnaround times.

The highest standards: Ledalite is a Lean-Certified manufacturer that embraces World Class Manufacturing principles. Ongoing programs constantly reduce waste in activities and materials. All products are made-to-order, reducing inventory levels and ensuring customers always get the latest product design. Efficiencies are gained in every production area through the use of proven international workflow systems.

Ledalite was the first lighting manufacturer in North America to be certified under the rigorous ISO 9001 Quality Assurance Program. As an ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer, independent auditors review our systems annually to ensure we are meeting all quality standards.

Rigorous quality standards are constantly being developed and enforced throughout the manufacturing process. Inspection standards are performed directly at receiving points and vendor qualification is continually performed and re-evaluated.

Cutting-edge equipment: Ledalite has made extensive investments in the latest manufacturing equipment. Throughout the factory we have deployed computer-programmable CNC technology, robotic welding cells and fully-automated, computer-controlled break and forming presses. High-volume powder coat painting is also fully automated and computer controlled in order to supply consistent quality finishes.

Trained, empowered employees: All of Ledalite’s production staff are fully cross-trained and empowered to participate in any of the various continuous improvement teams which run throughout the factory. Many of Ledalite’s production staff have been with the company in excess of 10 years, bringing valuable expertise to Ledalite’s products and quality expectations.

Buying power: As a member of the Genlyte Group of companies (Nasdaq: GLYT), Ledalite leverages the buying power of a $ 1.4 billion company. As a result, our costs on steel, aluminum and ballasts are some of the lowest in the industry – value that gets passed on to our customers.
