Regional Sales Manager

Ledalite Architectural Products is now taking applications for a full-time Regional Sales Manager position. Under the general supervision of the National Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing and motivating the sales channel to ensure sales objectives are met by the Sales Representatives in the assigned territories across all product groups. The Regional Sales Manager provides the company with feedback and market direction with respect to major industry trends and towards meeting sales objectives. The RSM also champions the Ledalite brand to the specification channel and to key industry influencers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Spearheads the selection, termination, training and development of Sales Representatives.
• Provides the company with reports and forecasts towards meeting sales objectives across all product groups in assigned territories.
• Assists with field research and provides the company with market feedback on product development.
• Promotes the Ledalite brand within the specification channel through product presentations, trade shows and industry events.
• Champions major clients and negotiates major bids.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

• Proven ability to assess risk and make decisions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and critical-thinking abilities.
• Exceptional oral/written communication, presentation skills, and ability to influence.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for team building.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years working in a sales management capacity.
  
• 10+ years in lighting/construction/architectural specification market.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related Architectural-Engineering field.
• IESNA – ED 150 or equivalent minimum
