Enhancing Life with Light

We believe that by focusing on what people really need and leveraging our expertise with a broad range of leading partners, we can create and deliver the most innovative and meaningful solutions on the market. Our goal is to create spaces that feel natural, provide increased visual comfort and maximize people’s productivity, while using the least amount of energy possible. Ergonomics in Light is a core value reflected in every product that Philips Ledalite creates. We specialize in creating fully-luminous environments that are designed around how people see. For us, it’s about holistically designing products and environments for people to live and work with an increased level of visual comfort. It’s about keeping every space feeling bright and natural. It’s about providing even illumination to the architecture while doing everything possible to minimize the energy used to light the space.

Environment & Sustainability

Environmental sustainability has always been ingrained in our culture. We continuously strive to create products and technologies that conserve energy and reduce energy costs. All Philips Ledalite products are designed to have the most efficient optical systems available and we only use modern electronic ballasts in every fixture that we produce. We have invested millions of dollars in technologies like MesoOptics—a testament to the fact that when it comes to energy efficiency we are always thinking about how we can do even better. In addition, many products have alternate packaging options that significantly reduce the amount of on-site waste. Our World Class Manufacturing facility exceeds all locally-published environmental standards. All wood, plastic and cardboard used for packaging raw materials is fully-recycled. All steel used in the factory contains 70+% recycled content. We achieve over 95% reclamation on overspray in our powder coat paint facilities. We employ state-of-the-art wastewater treatment technology that removes harmful pollutants and chemicals from rinse water. Energy efficient lighting is installed throughout the facility. All packaging for Philips Ledalite products is 100% recyclable. Whenever possible, local vendors are used to reduce transportation requirements. All electricity used by our manufacturing facility is cleanly-generated hydro-electric.
